The Jaeger Company (TJC) is a design and planning firm established in 1984 and incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia. The firm’s main office is located at 119 Washington Street, Gainesville, GA, with a second office in downtown Athens, GA. TJC is a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).

Landscape Architecture, Historic Preservation, Environmental Assessment, and Planning are the professional and technical foundations of the firm. The multi-disciplinary staff of twelve includes Registered Landscape Architects, Landscape Historians, Certified Planners, Preservation Professionals, Architectural Historians, Graphic Designers, qualified CAD (computer-aided design) operators, and related support staff.

Our approach to design and planning assignments emphasizes communication with the client and cost management. TJC believes excellence in planning and design is best achieved through clear and systematic communication with the client. Our goal is always to meet owner-defined needs within owner-defined budgetary limits.

Personal service by the firm to its clients is a major objective. TJC is particularly experienced in organizing and managing technical teams tailored to best address each client’s specific needs, from planning through design and implementation.

The graphics department uses Adobe InDesign, PageMaker, Photoshop, and Illustrator to generate graphics and publications for our clients. AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop, AutoCAD Map, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software are used in the production of plans and technical drawings.
